Sustainable change

Mrs Cutler a few weeks ago decided to use the remaining weeks in
the term to teach sustainability. It first started with a slide
discussing all the problems of palm oil, deforestation, animals of the rainforest and endangering them. Later that week she launched
phase 2, to spruce up a classroom wall. Part 3 involved futher disscusion, brooding deep and powerful thoughts. This week she unleashed a operation known as, plastic pollution talk.
so far we have seen (alot) of powerful videos and the test is to create a slide on ocean pollution. From my current sources
(my brain) we have already began this slide. I will continue to
blog until the operation until we move to something like algebra.

My Birthday over 9000!

Yesterday i woke up and had One thought IT is my BIRTHDAY. I left the bed and got dreessed into my
P.C.S uniform (Pompallier catholic school) my Mum located me and annonced HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
A smile sneaked it's way onto my face. Mum was busy making eggs on toast and milo.
I left the kitchen to find Zack and what do ya know he is playing Terraria (game). I told him to get off
it is school morning and he had done NOTHING. An alarm clock rang annoncing the bear (Dad) had
woken up...

Later that morning Breakfast was served i greedily munched on my toast. I got excited for my gifts. I new what i saw wasn't all the gifts. The first gift was a board game named NEFERTITI. The next gift was a Pair of pyjamas so soft on the outside that i was mildly excited to try them on. The next gift
was a stylish hoodie black with a spectacle of white dots. The next gift was battle ships from the famous
aunty Julie (famous to us) and lastly a Book i already new was going to a present.
(read so close for a back story).

1/2 an hour later i arrived at school. The day went pretty smoth al the way until my friend did the
UNTHINKABLE and he told the teacher it was my birthday. The WORLD's most akward happy birthday song. it sounded like a dying cricket sympony mixed with thoughts of Y R WE DOING THIS.
Hiroshi then started saying repetivily  Did u get a unicorn for your birthday while doing a contorted weird face. After 5 x of doing this i replied with did you plastic surgery for your birthday (He stayed blissfully quiet for the day).

Mum later picked me up from school. While we walked to the car she asked the PENNULTIMATE QUESTION do you PIZZA. YES I SCREACHED. We head to pizza hut and bought FOUR PIZZAS.
PE started tomorrow so for a PE shirt i had to go to the warehouse. We found a shirt and then while we
were looking at the gaming section of the warehouse. Mum carefully snuck out a PS PLUS GIFT CARD
in full view of us (Mum be less obvious) bought it and left the store using the new shirt as a way to
concelle the card.

She then rushed us to the super market were we bought food ad dinner party supplies. I had to conferre with my fruit juice accosiated what juice to pick we (he does) pick guava and pineapple juice. We picked up the finale groceries and headed home

When i first got home me and Zack put all the groceries in a pantry then i started to play games on my computer until my Mum told me to get nice and CLEAN in the shower. Onced in cleaned myself with Lynx soap, i carefully put on my new pyjamas. IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL TO HAVE PYJAMAS SO SOFT. I walked into the kitchen and saw my birthday cake in all it's delicious GLORY. 1/2 an hour later
was dinner time. After i snarfed up my lazangna. Mum gave me a card Which inside contain contained
the PS PLUS GIFT CARD. Then we ate the cake. I had an idea of playing NEFERTITI. The game was so complex it reminded me of the first time we played risk. Dad read the rules and told us how to play. we
played unti 9 o'clock then went to sleep.

SO CLOSE

5 more days until my birthday on the 22nd of june. I can almost taste the cake (i have wierd powers such
as tasting cake 5 days before eating it). I know some of my presents already (thanks to scholastics sending their deliveries strate to schools allowing for certain people (being me) to sneak a look). I also know what my foreign grandparents are getting me CLOTHES EVERY SINGLE YEARđź‘•. I'm hoping for something
like a new game.

WALLS FOR ALL

During the weekend Mum and Dad started placing in the frame for the walls for our bathroom renovation.
They were up during the night (hard to sleep during the family reunion of lumber and tools). When i woke up on sunday, i checked the walls. All they need to do now is stick some plaster on the side and they have finished their first wall. Although they have done alot they arn't a third of the way to completing.

The Rainforest Discussion

For the past week, Kakapo has been doing work about the rainforests. One of the tasks was creating some
form of way (in my experience making a slide) about the Rainforest. Me, Liam and Dallas worked
together on a slide on alot of topics.

Later that week, Mrs Cutler thought of a fun 3D art project to make a classroom wall the rainforest. We first made an leafy backdrop. Mine consisted of Banana leaves and soft greens. The next day the focus of
our art would begin, THE BIRD. Me and my 2 friends thought we could do different Varriations of the
Macaw. I did the Scarlet Macaw, Liam did a blue and gold macaw and Dallas did a rare and endangered spieces.

Da Party Granny.

During saturaday it was Nana's birthday. We spent the morning playing until Mum told us to grab our snazziest clothes and the km long road to Nan's house. when i first entered the old home i saw aunty Julie
rushing to cook different things. Mum lept into action and began helping. Ziggy left the house to sit outside (don't know why he's sometimes strange).

Returning to normal... ...until corona strikes back

Level one has now started meaning that we are back to normal. I personally think that we are ready, i
wish we closed the borders berfore covid could hit NZ. before lockdown we spent hundreds of dollars on canned food knowing it would provide us throughout the lockdown. We arn't half through the stash. The funny thing is it is stored in my room so i sleep daily next to 1000 kidney beans. The benifits of that room is that it is a double bed. We have currently NO known cases of CoronaVirus for 2 weeks meaning we are 2 steps ahead of the world.

The Boring Wait.

Yesterday Mum left home to go to whangarei, there she picked
up a toilet and more material. after school day came to pick us
up. He left us in the lunch room at work. One of Dad's collegues
had abirthday that day and her birthday cake was
AMAZING!!! she said it was speicial made from beachcomber.

Zack made depressing jokes. When ever i asked what time it is
he said it was o'clock o'clock. We continued to talk about the
day, films, jokes, video games. occasionally a employee came
into the lunch room and had a three second talk

The time eventually came (Three hours) when he announced it
was time to go home. on the way home he talked about how he
had prepared a movie and about his models.
once we got home he rang up mum in whangarei and asked her
how was it, she was still at bunnings wherehouse.
